The Texas Legislature is in session. In fact, half the session is over. The Senate has moved a number of GOP Legislative Priorities. The House hasn’t passed one bill. Hear from Jill Tate about TFRW’s perspective and our efforts to get priorities passed.

It’s election time in Bastrop! City voters will select a new mayor and two Council people. Those living in the geography served by the Bastrop Independent School District will select new board members. Only one race is contested. This month, meet John Eason. In April, Chris Dillon will join us. Election day is Saturday May 3. Early voting takes place April 22 – 29.
